These filters use fiberglass filter elements to remove solid dirt particles from gas streams. As gas enters the body gas velocity is reduced to allow large particles to drop to the bottom of the filter body. This feature will prolong life of the filter elements. Finer particles get trapped in the small pores of filter elements. Graded density through the filter cartridge increases the dirt holding capacity of the filter cartridges.
