Used in oil and gas, petrochem and water resource industries. Any pipeline get internal scale, wax and other deposits over time. This will reduce the flow and increase pressure loss through the pipeline and increase energy required for pumping. In order to keep the pipeline flow efficiency at its optimum level regular pigging operations are carried out. Used to provide quick access for inserting and removal of pigs from launcher or receiver. All QOC are designed to ASME sec VIII Div 1. On request we can provide closures with U stamp. Special corrosion resistant weld inlay provides required resistance for sour service applications. All closures are equipped with pressure safety interlock to avoid opening of the closure while pig launcher or receiver is under pressure.
